Reflection on Chapter 3: Living Contentment (Verse 3)
As I face this unexpected uneasiness in my life right now, I have a choice of how I will react to it. It is difficult to be content when you feel like the things you have worked hard to establish are falling apart. But having these things in place will not necessarily bring happiness. Happiness is the only way, writes Dyer. My only job is to be content no matter what and to realize that the contentment I feel does not come from a previous accomplishment or moment of special privilege. It is entirely my choice. Good things are more likely to come my way if I am attracting them. Negativity and ongoing frustration and discontent will not only repel good things from coming my way but will also make me incapable of recognizing them. Contentment is truly the only way to be happy.
In response to my readings of Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s book Change Your Thoughts – Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao.

Think positive and all the good stuff will be on your way before you even realise it. Good luck.
